My dad and I go here a lot for breakfast! Our favorite waitress, Charlotte is always friendly! Good food love this place!!!

Good breakfast and a great walk on the pier

Great find on the sea wall (not all the way down the dock) with views of the boats and covered outdoor seating! Fried Shrimp Dinner is plentiful and delicious. Kid's menu is generous - chicken fingers are really good. And our server, Charlotte, is wonderful! If you have a sweet tooth, the Kiss on the Lips drink is delightful. I highly recommend!

Nice casual place by the river. Food is good and so is the service.

Had dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday. Everybody was happy with their meals and prices were moderate, considering the location. Live music was great, including a sax soloist. Our kids (and other kids) were offered a free ice cream bar for finishing their dinner, by the host.The beef tenderloin hash. Get it. Beats canned any day and it's hard to find scratch-made hash anymore.If in the area, I would definitely eat here again.

Great place, always you can sit outside over the water or inside. Always had good food. Seafood, burgers, chicken sandwiches and plenty more.

I had the Riverside Seafood Platter Blackened. It was amazing!

There were three of us there today. Very disappointed. Ordered a French dip sandwich. It came with no cheese. I walked the pkate over to the cashiers and asked for cheese to be put on it. Came back cold and the beef tadted sour.Could never see our waitress other than watch her eating . I have no problem the girl was hungry however instead of washing her hands she wiped them on her pants. Uggg. I will not go back there again. As of this writting I still have a belly ache from the appetizer

We just had a “comfort food” late lunch. It was exactly what I was wanting. The veggies were particularly fresh. Cozy, warm and friendly atmosphere. Rosie too!

They closed for good. Very sad.

Extremely rude staff, sat us at a table pushed next to obnoxious drunks screaming profanity at us for "almost spilling their beer". Staff defended the drunks then gave my party of four one menu to share after complaining about having to move the table to accommodate us. After repeatedly asking we received one more menu. 10 minutes later we get our water with one rum and coke, made incorrectly with whiskey. I would give no stars if possible. Such a disappointment for no reason other than poor service. We definitely didn't feel comfortable to order dinner so we left and will not be back. Excellent live music doesn't make up for this awful experience. Save your time and money and go elsewhere to enjoy many of the fine establishments available on the Bradenton river.

Was making my was to Riverhouse but came here by accident for lunch. Glad I did! Not a huge selection of fish but the burger was really good. Quiet indoor seating and was greeted by a server promptly. Glad I came here by accident and will definitely come again!

Inclusive, diverse and customer friendly place. They seated and took care of us when we got there....an earlier riverside restaurant, three miles away that we went to , didn't even acknowledge us and had people only of a certain color seated. Great Marina view , good food, live music, perfect date and family place..

Had some appetizers at bar, food and hot. After lunch ordered a Maimivice ( frozen drink) and the bartender told me it might be a while as she had tables to wait on! Someone needs to teach this women some proper people/bar skills !

I love the laid back atmosphere and outdoor seating. Great food, friendly staff, live music - not too loud - can still carry on conversation! Check it out!

The Riverside Cafe offers both a romantic atmosphere to dine and if you are looking for a place your casual group can dine, drink, relax you will find that at the Riverside Cafe. Great place, great service.

Rode down here from Tampa arrived at 7:05 waited till 7:30 to open it is now 8:15 still not open. How inconsiderate not to update their hours!

Food was good. Peanut butter pie was fantastic! That is a must have.....

We often stop here on our way from SC to Sanibel. Frequented by marina goers, but you should try it too. Wide selection of flavorful seafood at reasonable prices. Great dockside seating. Service could be faster. Overall highly recommended.

Real good Gyro . Tazike sauce not overwhelmed w garlic or cucumber. AND they had malt vinegar for my fries! Yeah Man...service was perfect, attentive.

Clam chowder didn't have any flavor to me. Next to marina- neat view. There was live music outside which we missed since we sat inside.

Great service and view of the marina. Baked shrimp with stuffed crab meat. Man this was so good. Knocked a star. The veggies and fries were sysco. Wish those were fresh.

Hostess rude and unfriendly. Seated but server never came to table. Three tables seated and 2 had their food and we were never approached by waitress. Yes, there were 3 waitresses that noted we were there and seated but no one ever acknowledged we were there. We left and will not return.

Riverside Cafe consistently exceeds my expectations. The food is delicious, plentiful portions, large menu selection, pleasant wait staff, nice view of the river, entertainment on weekends, and very reasonable price point. I just had a seasonal salad with loads of fruit, almonds, blue cheese and grilled shrimp. Delish! Lastly, I love their freshly made warmed pita bread

Great cafe on the water. Great service as well, Michelle was a very good waitress. Although it was very busy she always checked up on us! 10/10 service and location!

Crab cakes were very good but the sauce they served it with was so spicy it was inedible. I'm glad they served it on the side! Others said their fried shrimp dinner and mahi mahi entrees were tasty. Friendly service and laid-back atmosphere were appreciated.

Riverside Cafe has EXCELLENT food! I love the bruchetta and tomato basil soup. Their burgers are tasty and breakfast is on point! Cant say enough about the food and service. Its always a great experience.

The Riverside Cafe’s food can’t be beat! I’ve never had a bad meal, and I can’t say that for nearby restaurants. The food is consistent and delicious.This place is right on the water with an outside deck and air conditioned inside area with a view. It has a view without having view prices.The owner cares about his workers and his customers, and he can usually be found chatting with regulars and making the newcomer feel at home. It’s a great spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are always great lunch and dinner specials every night. You can’t beat Happy Hour prices ($1.50 beers anyone’s!?) and fun waitstaff.My other favorite part about this place is the nightly live music, which gives it an upbeat vibe. As a regular customer, and as someone who used to waitress, this restaurant gets 5 stars for being so consistently welcoming and for having AMAZING food.

I almost do not want to post a review because I like this place so much and I want to keep it the little hidden gem that it is. Great service, really good food and even entertainment on certain days of the week.
